ECMO Education and Simulation-February 19-20, 2026
The extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and simulation course provides multidisciplinary education to the team caring for patients on ECMO. The course provides comprehensive didactic and simulation training in a multidisciplinary team setting to ensure competency to manage critical patients on ECMO with knowledge dissemination, skill acquisition, and competency verification.
Target Audience
Physicians, nurses, APPs, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, perfusionists, life flight EMT's, nutritionists, clinical psychologists, residents, fellows, case managers, social workers, and psychiatrists.
Learning Objectives
Develop a current evidenced based practice multidisciplinary team knowledgeable and competent in caring for ECMO patients for the best chance at survival with a good quality of life.
