Primary care providers, Emergency room providers, nurses, any clinician wanting to know more about wound care

Learning Objectives

  1. Recognize PVD, order appropriate testing to drive wound plan of care
  2. Discuss how to determine if pressure is an underlying wound etiology and how to offload
  3. Identify when a basic diabetic foot exam needs escalated to podiatry
  4. Identify patients that could benefit from Lymphedema therapy 
  5. Discuss  cognitive decline as a barrier to adherence with medical plan of care 
  6. Discuss the basics of caring for an ostomate and potential challenges they face
