World AIDS Day 2021: The Faces of HIV Today

December 2, 2021

Overall purpose of the activity is to increase awareness of HIV as well as review general principles in the care of people living with HIV (PLWH) including medical, social, and mental health factors. The goal of the program is to give information and resources to providers and other healthcare personnel who are caring for or may care for PLWH in the future as well as to PLWH to help them take on an active role in their own care. HIV care has evolved dramatically over the past few decades so continual updates are needed in order for healthcare providers to keep current with ever evolving guidelines; this conference is one such avenue for healthcare providers to receive these updates.
