Using Telehealth for Risk Adjustment

With the COVID-19 Pandemic, CMS has provided a waiver allowing for the use of telehealth services for patient encounters.  An accurate risk status will enable identification of patients who may be at highest risk for COVID-19 complications.  This course will illustrate how providers can appropriately document a face to face visit using telehealth in order to adequately assess for risk adjustment conditions.
