TEMPORAL BONE AND MICROANATOMY HANDS ON DISSECTION WORKSHOP

This intensive two-day course will provide participants the opportunity to individually practice anatomical temporal bone dissection and various otologic operative techniques using the following:

Target Audience

This workshop is intended for otolaryngologists interested in the most recent developments in temporal bone surgical techniques. At the conclusion of the course, participants will have an improved understanding of the microanatomy of otologic operative techniques. The course will consist of didactic sessions, round-table discussion, hands-on temporal bone dissection and instruction by nationally renowned faculty. The course will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. The schedule will include:

 

Learning Objectives

  • Perform, assist and guide patients through chronic ear disease
  • Discuss patient specific questions with regards to latest hearing technologies, advancements
  • Identify different surgical techniques and options related to hearing restoration, preservation
