Target Audience

This training is appropriate for masters- and doctoral-level mental health practitioners with prior knowledge and experience working with LBGTQ+ clients.
 

Learning Objectives

Describe the process, including risks and benefits, of gender affirming medical transition. 

Discuss the prerequisites, preparation, and aftercare expectations for gender affirming surgery. 

Identify and be able to integrate the components of an effective and thorough gender affirming surgery letter.
