Target Audience

Who Should Attend:

Foot & Ankle surgeons, podiatrists, orthopedic surgeons and other health care providers involved in the clinical and surgical management of the foot and ankle.

Learning Objectives

Intent and Objectives:

 

Attendees will develop a comprehensive understanding of “state-of-the-art” principles and techniques of foot and ankle surgery.

 

Attendees will understand principles of managing complications and limb-salvage.

 

Attendees will understand the use and application of emerging techniques involving orthobiologics, arthroscopy, endoscopy, total ankle replacement, intramedullary fixation, external fixation, and cartilage replacement.

 

Attendees will understand new concepts and techniques utilized in the management of complex diabetic lower extremity problems such as Charcot, ankle fractures, osteomyelitis and significant soft tissue deficits.

 

Attendees will understand the management of foot and ankle trauma including ankle fractures, calcaneal fractures, forefoot fractures, ankle sprains and osteochondral lesions of the talus.
