Constant changes and new advancements in technique, skills and training in diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, but the advancements are not always translated into the care provided patients. The lecture series enables physicians to maintain or improve knowledge and the competence needed to provide the best possible eye care for their patients.

Learning Objectives

1.  Review diagnosis and treatment of common and rare ophthalmologic diseases.

2. Summarize new treatment paradigms, diagnostic approaches, and surgical techniques into current clinical practice.

3. Review, modify and hone surgical skills and approaches to specific eye problems and clinical situations.

4. Identify (appropriately) subsets of patients who may benefit from new treatment paradigms, diagnostic testing, or surgical intervention

5. Reference strategies to identify and address their own individual professional practice gaps
