OBGYN Annual Resident Research Day
A specific discussion Grand Rounds level talk will be given by an expert in the field, followed by 3 hours of research projects directed at knowledge gaps and performance initiatives in the department. The resident research projects have worked to evaluate system processes, perform initiatives and gaps in care at WPH. Examples include evaluation of OR times, blood salvage during peripartum hysterectomy, fertilization and pregnancy outcomes.

Discuss potential strengths and weaknesses in conducting research. Identify areas of practice improvement at West Penn Hospital. Review areas for continued research and quality initiatives at WPH.
