Highmark Caring Place Grief Talks Conference: Grief across the Lifespan March 26, 2025
Grief intersects our path at many points throughout our lives. We may have multiple experiences of grief at different times in our lives and we may also experience a significant loss in new and different ways as we grow and develop. Join us for the 2025 Grief Talks Conference where we will offer a full day of learning and conversation to explore the many ways that grief is experienced and expressed across the lifespan, from early childhood through older adulthood.
Target Audience
Professionals, volunteers, hospice workers, therapists, community members who work with families who are grieving.
Learning Objectives
1. Describe the ongoing nature of grief.
2. Discuss the many ways grief manifests throughout the lifespan and across various populations.
3. Identify 2-3 strategies for recognizing and supporting those who are grieving.
4. Discover the importance of caring for oneself during times of grief and explore strategies for doing so.
