Those in the helping professions are at a higher risk of experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, and/or vicarious trauma. Proper self-care is essential to be able to maintain healthy boundaries, work/life balance, and continue providing effective care. Mindfulness practice is a powerful and effective intervention in maintaining proper self-care. This session will include an interactive mindfulness exercise, information on the importance of self-care, and information regarding services provided by The Chill Project by AHN.
