
7th Annual AHN IBD Summit
Overview
The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Allegheny Health Network (AHN) will explore advances of treatment and management of IBD at the Sixth Annual AHN IBD Summit. The Program will feature world-renowned IBD faculty discussing clinical IBD topics pertaining to its diagnosis, management, and complications. In addition, it will highlight the latest advances and state-of-the-art interventions.

Eligibility for a registrant refund is based on the following criteria. Please note, all registrants must email CME department within the specified time frames to be eligible for a refund. To receive a full refund, registrants must provide written notification to the CME department no sooner than 30 days of activity start date. Registrants that notify the CME department within 14-29 days prior to activity will receive a 50% refund.

Target Audience
Gastroenterologists, internists, colorectal surgeons, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, radiologists, pathologists, and GI/internal medicine fellows, as well as surgical residents/medical students, nutritionists, and nurses.

- Discuss the use of biosimilars in the management of IBD
- • Review the management of pouchitis
- • Discuss the management of IBD in pregnancy and lactation
- • Review new innovations in endoscopic management of strictures in IBD
- • Understand the importance of vaccinations- and their timing in IBD
- • Identify how to use newer medications in the management of IBD patients
- • Understand the role of diet in management of IBD and Celiac disease
- • Review updates in the management of celiac disease and microscopic colitis
