47th Annual Eastern Great Lakes Burn Conference
The West Penn Burn Center of The Western Pennsylvania Hospital is pleased to host the 2019 Eastern Great Lakes Burn Care Conference. Building on the long-standing tradition of this important educational meeting, this year’s conference — now in its 47th year will focus on the collegial exchange of current research being done in the field. This ex-change of information and promotion of education will enable the entire burn care team to provide a higher standard of care and ultimately lead to improved outcomes for our burn patients.
Target Audience
This conference is intended for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and registered nurses, dieticians and pharmacists, physical and occupational therapists, social workers and emergency medical technicians who are interested in burn care with an emphasis on complex clinical issues.

- Discuss current burn practices in different burn centers
- Review regional emergency preparation
- Discuss collaboration between burn centers in the region
