Forward2026 Stroke Symposium
The AHN Stroke Symposium is designed to provide education on current, evidence-based practice knowledge across the continuum of stroke care. This annual event is aimed at assisting with educational requirements for nurses, providers, therapists, and other health care professionals who care for stroke patients. A variety of educational methods will be used by a faculty of experts during this conference.

Target Audience
We extend a warm invitation to Physicians, including Neurologists, Emergency Physicians, Neurosurgeons, and Primary Care providers, to delve into the latest diagnostic modalities, acute treatment strategies, and long-term management protocols. Nurses across all specialties—from Emergency and Critical Care to Medical-Surgical and Rehabilitation—will find valuable insights into best practices for patient assessment, acute intervention, and holistic care planning. For our dedicated Therapists (Physical, Occupational, and Speech-Language), this symposium offers an opportunity to explore innovative rehabilitation techniques, technology-driven interventions, and strategies for maximizing functional recovery and reintegration into daily life. Finally, our frontline EMS professionals will gain critical updates on pre-hospital stroke recognition, rapid assessment tools, and efficient transport protocols that are pivotal in optimizing the golden hour of stroke care.
