Learning Objectives
Following this program, attendees will be able to: Lecture 1) I Can’t See! Cases That Can Make (or Break) Your Clinic Day. 1. Discuss unusual causes of vision loss. 2. Appropriately recognize variants of optic neuropathies and direct diagnostic testing and treatment appropriately. 1) . Resident Case -TBD. Lecture 2. Evaluation and Management of Diplopia. 1. Review neuro-anatomical principles that allow for localization of diplopia. 2. Briefly review common causes of diplopia, with emphasis on ominous etiologies. 3. Implement a reasonable diagnostic approach to confirm etiology and develop an effective management strategy.
