The Race, Ethnicity and Language (REAL) Committee’s purpose is to establish foundational structure that: (a) ensures continual safe, effective and equitable patient care (b) identifies patient and population health care inequities or risk factors, (c) leverages local community and organizational resources to minimize and or reduce potential risk, (d) collaborates with key stakeholders to prioritize strategic health care equity promotion initiatives and (e) executes on deliverables. The committee is led by the hospital Director of Quality in collaboration with key stakeholders to promote our core behaviors Customer First, Transformational Leadership, Trust Working Together and Purposeful Execution Core Values.
