At the end of the presentation, the learner will be able to:

  1. Assess the epidemiology of gout and identify the associated risk factors

  2. Distinguish the clinical presentations and manifestations in the course of gout

  3. Prescribe treatment for patients with gout according to the EULAR and ACR recommendations and guidelines

  4. Analyze the relationship of hyperuricemia and gout with associated medical comorbidities
