Integrate practical strategies from different cases related to psychological treatment of trauma

Demonstrate how to use mindfulness and grounding for clients with trauma

Differentiate between the core principles and therapeutic modalities of various trauma-informed approaches.

Evaluate the suitability of different trauma treatment approaches for specific client needs.

This is a 4-part educational series designed for social workers and behavioral health professionals and will consist of education focused on psychological approaches to trauma treatments. The series will explore evidence-based frameworks, therapeutic modalities, and practical strategies for recognizing and addressing trauma across diverse populations We will be presenting on different psychological approaches for the treatment of Trauma including ACT, CBT, DBT and Gestalt Therapy. This activity is intended for introductory and intermediate educational levels.
