Studies show that family physicians spend more time working in the EHR than spent face-to-face during typical office visit 
and that primary care physicians spend more than one-half of their workday, nearly 6 hours, interacting with the EHR during
and after clinic hours. There is significant evidence that shows physician burn out is increasing and 
it's connection to the EHR and other administrative responsibilities.
